Battenkill Ag Services, LLC ("Battenkill Ag" or "we") helps farms with the H-2A program. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

From the checklist download: your name, email and, if you choose, your farm name. We use it to send you the checklist and occasional H-2A tips, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
From the contact form: your name, farm name, email, phone, state, and what you tell us about your season.
From customers: documents you upload to our customer portal so we can prepare and file your H-2A paperwork, and billing details needed to send invoices.
Payments: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card or bank numbers.

How we use it

To answer your request and prepare a quote.
To prepare, file and support your H-2A applications.
To send invoices, payment reminders and important notices about your case.
To respond to government agencies when the law requires it, such as a Department of Labor audit.

We do not sell your information.

Text messages

If you opt in, we send text messages about invoices that are coming due, from Battenkill Ag at [business texting number]. Message frequency varies, usually no more than a few messages per invoice. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number or opt-in consent with anyone for marketing.

How we protect it

Customer documents are stored in a private, encrypted system. Each customer can see only their own files. Every view and download is logged.

How long we keep it

We keep customer documents for at least [retention period] after each season ends, because H-2A rules require records to be available for audits.
